What if you had 1 year left to live? What would you do differently?

Would you be fixated on your weight? Would you still want to overeat? Would food even be a factor?

I recently posed this question to the women in my Weight Loss For Life Group as a part of one of our modules which teaches you how to break free from old patterns and ways of being that are no longer serving you.

This was an extremely powerful question that helps in not only identifying what isn’t working but helping you to actually see what’s blocking you from changing. What current belief systems are you allowing to make your decisions?

Meaning, what aspects of yourself would you change. What patterns, thoughts, behaviors are working against you? What ways of being would you let go of, what ways of being would you adopt?

What chances would you take? How would you spend your time? Who would you spend your time with? How would you dress?

Really take time to sit and think about this and answer these questions, because you can begin living your life now as if you only had 1 year left to live.

Trust me, what you would accomplish and the fun you would have will be beyond your wildest expectations.

Many of the women in the group said they would:

Only say YES to the things they really want to do

Wouldn’t waste another minute obsessing over food or their weight

Stop trying to be perfect Stop dieting or caring about their weight

Be more loving to their partner and family

Only spend time with the people they loved the most

Take chances – put themselves out there

Start saying what was on their mind

Be vulnerable an say what they really feel in the moment

Dress how they want to NOW

No longer gossip or complain

What about you?

What would you do differently? What ways of being would you let go?

Do you want to take this a step further and be put into action? Then make sure to join me for our DONE WITH DIETING LIVE EVENT, November 8th in La Jolla, San Diego!
